Eagles Rising is able to do what it does partly because of the passion and commitment of visitors and volunteers. Please consider the following avenues of possible participation in the futures of Africa's youth:
1. Adopt a student, financially, in prayer or by corresponding and building relationship with them. Maybe invite them over to spend time in your home (if you live in South Africa). For most of our students, living on the farm is their first experience of wholesome family life. A weekend in a normal household can change their lives.
2. You or your church group can come on a short term outreach if you live in another country, or if you live close by you can visit to spend time and build relationships with the students. See the attached document for details how individuals or small groups from churches can get involved.
3. Give your time. You can be a volunteer teacher. Contact us for a list of subjects in need of qualified teachers (e.g. maths, computer skills, English, communication skills etc.). Consider giving a month of your time to teach the students, by presenting a modular school in any particular subject. One of our volunteers presents a school of business ethics. You can do the same in your own field of expertise, by presenting a school either for two or three full days per month, or every day for a week.
